Hi-
My name is Pat, I've lived my whole life here in Minnesota, and I began collecting autographs thru the mail way back in 1961 as a little kid, when the Twins first moved to MN.
I've continued off & on since then. I hung out at old Met Stadium often, getting autographs in person, and took my vacations during Florida spring training in the 1980s, and hung out in the parking lot at the Dome for a few years.
From the 60s til 1990 I pretty much collected any baseball player who would sign and built up a pretty good collection of signed cards and postcards.
At that point, with so many different card sets coming out, and players becoming less cooperative, I decided to concentrate strictly on Twins & former Twins from 1961-1992. My old non-Twins collection is boxed up and pretty much forgotten.
I still have a number of holes in my 1961-1992 Twins signed card collection, and am starting to attempt to get one card signed by each of the post-1992 Twins.
In recent years I've begun making up custom postcard-sized photos for autographing, again of Twins & former Twins.
I'm always interested in hearing from other Twins collectors, and more than happy to trade for any cards on my want list.
