About Me:
My name is Zack and I'm one of those younger collectors that wasn't around for the good 'ole days when you could get HOFers for less than ten bucks lol. I also go by Zack Attack and Cpt. Zack Sparrow if you want to have some fun with my name, or just know other Zack's and need to distinguish.
I got into autograph collecting somewhere around the turn of the century as a young whipper snapper, but was only the occasional in person graphing at Detroit Tigers games. Once I got into my upper teens, that is when I really picked up my game and was expanding my collection at a good rate. I started in Through The Mail autographing in 2010 and my first return was Sparky Anderson (somehow my first returns are dominated by the now deceased - Sparky, Ralph Houk, Frank Castillo, Bobby Thomson and Bobby Doerr is old enough that he could be added here soon). I've been doing it ever since, while evolving my in person graphing to a better strategy and adding some notable names over the last decade.
My collection has no real method, I just collect whatever I like. That means I will, generally speaking, pull cards from my collection for a set builder if they can give me the same player back or something else if I have another item of that player. I have a few set and non-set projects I soft collect, which you can find listed in the wants section of my profile.
